The Lost But Not Alone House Party Tour
How it works:
Just like any concert tour for an Artist is set up we would get in contact with 6 people who owns a house (or an Apartment if accessible) and with their permission through contract set up and throw a party at that person’s house. If we can obtain 6 participants, we will tour every Friday or Saturday of the month of September and end with a 3-day Banger starting on September 22nd. The Entrance Fee Will be $5 a person, $10 after 10pm, and all the money earned will be split between Robot Empire, other sponsors contributing to the event and The Owner of the house in a 40/60 deal. The Set Up:
During the Middle of August, we will have a Spot Session where we will meet with The Owners of the houses and get acquainted with them, let them know how the event is going to go, look at the arrangement of the house, where we would set up and so on. All Participants of the tour will be notified 3 weeks before the event is started and acknowledged of the date of their party; flyer will be created by I, Chaz Ortega. The Owner of each house will be notified & reminded of their party that Monday and around 3pm on the day of the party we will meet at the designated house and set up. All House Parties start at 9pm, will be B.Y.O.B / B.Y.O.W and will be thrown in respect to any rules The House Owner wishes to create. Each house will be decorated with lights in which ever part the house that would hold the most guests. Providences of food will be held optional by The Owner of the house for the most part. Music will be provided by I, Chaz Ortega aka DJ LostBoy and who ever else would like to join. If other artist become interested in joining as the event goes on Guest Performances can be added to the Tour but not paid for. Also in preparation for each house party a petition will be created that informs the surrounding neighbors and Neighborhood that said House Party will be held in the area. Depending on the location of each house a Tour Path will be created to make traveling easier for everyone contributing to The Tour.
Reason Why I’m Doing This:
So as a lot of people know I love partying; and living in Detroit just about every party is the same. They make an event, make a flyer of it, promote it poorly i.e. Just posting it on twitter and Instagram…Maybe Facebook, get some artist to perform, and then that’s it. They try and make all their money off the door and then when people do come majority just stand around on Snapchat. It gets hype for a second but then people go home. With this Tour I want to change ALL THAT! The Promotion, The Event Set Up, The Music, The Feeling, The Atmosphere, ALL OF IT. I want to create Moments! I want People too forget about their problems and enjoy being in a room of hundreds of people having the time of their lives. I want to creates moments where someone is standing along the side of the dance floor and they see their crush just standing there alone and they gather the courage to ask them to dance and just as they get on the dance floor the music and lights changes around them and they lose themselves in the music and moment and Enjoy the comfort of being with one another. Those are the type of party that stick with you for a lifetime and make events special.
